Valerie serves as the Department’s Graduate Administrator and supports the Director of Graduate Studies with all aspects of the Graduate Program. She provides assistance to the chair, faculty and graduate students regarding any departmental policies, requirements, and deadlines. Valerie assists the graduate students in organizing work related to their dissertation proposals, general examinations, and final public orals. She coordinates all events and lectures associated with the graduate students and visiting scholars.
